Piano boogie-woogie 12th of August
Born in 1960, Christian Bleiming belongs to the well set generation of blues and boogies German pianists. With a very authentic way of playing, like the one of Pinetop Smith or Meade Lux Lewis, he proposes the audience many personal compositions. His regular attendance to the TV show “Teatercafe Live” made him popular. He played for instance with Big Joe Duskin and was Chuck Berry’s accompanist, recorded nine CDs, among which the excellent “Boogie-Woogie Power Train” and “Solo & Live”.
