2016! Year of the majority: over eighteen years and a great path! Our festival has come of age and is autonomous; it can now enter in maturity.
The few hesitations of the early days are over, the crew now has a steady hand at the helm. The ship is now moving under full sail and it does not fear the storm. Captain Boogie can be proud of his ship.
Now known from everyone, the Roquebrou festival has plenty of surprises in store. Don’t be mistaken, its growing success is not a chance: each year, the festival visitors find themselves “at home” and they are sure to live unique moments! The Haven of all musicians, singers, and high-level dancers, nothing in the world compares to the Roquebrou festival… and it will never stop being a source of envy!.
Rest assured that young people will be there as well, with the Austrian pianist Katharina Alber and the blues of the roots will not be forgotten with the American artists Papadon Washington, Denise King and Alabama Slim. As for the Tuxedo Big Band from Toulouse, you should expect a storm! This year, not less than eleven countries will give our event a real international dimension.
A festival that the whole world envies us cannot end without the magic of the gospel: directly from the choir of our nice medieval church to the heart of the festival visitors, it will stimulate each of us, preparing us for the next step: 2017!
