Piano boogie-woogie – 13^th of August

The great Memphis Slim helped Jean-Pierre Bertrand to discover the greatest music in the world, during a concert in Saint-Germain-en-Laye. As of then, the teenager abandoned classical music, discovers the freedom to improvise with a new kind of music. His encounter with Jean-Paul Amouroux, pianist at the “Cambridge”, was a turning point. Jean-Pierre is undoubtedly one of the best European pianists, recording fifteen high-level records, organising each year the festival “Beaune Blues Boogie” in Burgundy.
