LIONEL STIEVENARD

Saxophone tenor  11-12-13^th of August

Born in 1964 in Paris, the little Lionel fell in love with the saxophone on seas during a cruise. As a young boy, he went to the Conservatory of the XX^th District of Paris. Starting in rock’ n’ roll orchestras, his encounter with Fabrice Eulry was determining for his orientation. He also played with Nancy Holloway. The great admirer of King Curtis, with his powerful music and disarming phrasing, will play on a “King” saxophone from the 1950’s!
